Biography:
My mathematical interests are in Algebraic Number Theory and K-Theory. I did my undergraduate studies in Cambridge, then spent two years at Oxford thinking about Number Theory before coming back to Cambridge for a PhD in the Algebra Group. I am now trying to apply traditionally purely algebraic tools in a number theory setting. Outside of mathematics, I am a keen sportsman spending much of my free time rowing (on the Cam), cycling (in the Alps), and playing tennis (wherever I can). I am an enthusiastic (and thoroughly unaccomplished) artist, enjoying playing with colour and form through photography, watercolour painting, and quilting.
